Lynn Luria Sukenick
Before her death in 1995 at the age of 57, Luria-Sukenick had published several books of poetry including the 25-part "Houdini", some of which is included here. Seven short stories make up her fiction debut "Danger Wall May Fall". Most of the women in this collection are sifting carefully through the debris of failed relationships with flaky men. The strongest voices in these tales belong to women under stress, and who from the rubble of personal and natural disasters, speak words of hope.
